THIS  WILL COUNT TOWARDS YOUR FINAL PROJECT GRADE. You also must hand in a final copy of your presentation so that Ms. Laricchia can cue you  should you forget your lines. If you know if you will be absent on 12/22, please tell Ms. Laricchia ahead of time, along with your partner. If you cut class on this day, you will receive a 0. Do not use Google Translate for this assignment.

QUESTO PROGETTO SARÀ VALUTATO COME UN ESAME.

Update!

1. Please be sure to have a final copy of your presentation to give to Ms. Laricchia DURING your presentation. This will not be graded.
2. As of 12/18/2015, Ms. Laricchia is allowing flashcards for the presentation. This should ONLY be used should you need to remind yourself of a line. ALL PRESENTATIONS MUST STILL BE MEMORIZED. If you read from flashcards, it will negatively affect your grade.

"So you only speak English?" - by Theresa Bullock

“So you only speak English?”  –by Theresa Bullock
So you only speak English?
Pourquoi? They ask me, of course I’m in France
My cheeks blush as I
Make some excuse about
Not reading enough books or not going on enough trips
Rolling off the basics
Seems to keep them off my back for now
Ah! Bien!
So you only speak English?
The Dutch seem more forgiving
Until they learn I have lived here for
Years rather than weeks.
But their look of disappointment
urges me on
Maar ik spreekt een beetje .
The truth is very different
I love how musical bore-da
Sounds in the morning on a camping trip to Wales
How kurwa sounds so soft
It cannot possibly mean my Polish friends are insulting each other
I watch movies with different subtitles so I know
Ezel, burro, åsna, baudet.
But I cannot string two words together.
In England that’s good going
But here, being able to order
Frikandel met frites
Just doesn’t seem to cut it.
It’s easier for me to say
Tak, I only speak English.

If you do not receive a response from Ms. Laricchia, she did not receive it. Early projects will be accepted, so please do not wait until the last minute.
-Please make your link/URL in this format: moda+last name. Per esempio, il link di Signorina Laricchia è MODALARICCHIA.BLOGSPOT.COM.

-Se hai un problema con l'internet, puoi STAMPARE (print) il tuo progetto e darlo a Signorina Laricchia in classe (lo stesso giorno, IL PRIMO dicembre).

Ecco un esempio di Signorina Laricchia, con la sua "celebrità'" preferita: Kate Middleton!
modalaricchia.blogspot.com

If you have any questions about this project, please send Ms. Laricchia an email at LaricchiaLAG@gmail.com.

For every day that this project is late, you will lose 10 points. There will not be NO leeway with Google Translate from this point forward this year. If you use ANY translation device, you will receive a 0 for this assignment. Remember, using a dictionary, like wordreference.com, is not using a translation device. Typing in a sentence or paragraph in English into a translation device is scholastic dishonesty, does not teach you anything, and is very obvious to your teacher.

If you do not have internet access, or do not want to use the internet, that is OK, but please make sure to follow these guidelines:
- you have a title
- you have one or two pictures of a celebrity/person,
- you include the minimum number of fifteen sentences in Italian,
- your project is TYPED and printed on a word document, like Microsoft Word,
- your project is well organized, creative, and shows effort,

- your project is on time and handed in by December 1, 2015.

Noi parleremo di questo progetto domani in classe. A domani!

Autobiografia, Copia Finale, lunedì, il 5 ottobre

Someone holding a sign welcoming the Pope. Instead of saying "Welcome, Pope," the sign says "Welcome, Potato."
Do not use Google translate!
Previously, you wrote a 20 sentence autobiography about yourself. For periods 3 and 6, you received your rough drafts back. Period 10, you will receive them on Tuesday.

Now you must make a final copy of your rough draft. If you had all 20 sentences in your rough draft, then great! All you have to do is rewrite and type up your 20 sentences and follow the project guidelines below. If you did not meet the 20 sentence requirement, then you must do so and write more sentences.

This will be due on Monday, October 5, 2015 and will be worth a quiz grade. For every day that this is late, you will receive a 10 point deduction.

The main components of this project are:
